Before the Corona times, this was my hangout when I was with friends in Mainz. The truffle spaghetti, which the chef prepares in front of the guests in a fresh parmesan loaf, and the selection of fish are highly recommended. No matter whether in the house or at the moment outside the house. As soon as I'm in Mainz, this restaurant is my first port of call. Top family business!

Good and inexpensive Italian

Stayed there with our family last weekend. I had anglerfish that was totally fried. The rest of the dishes were nothing special either. Therefore only two stars.

The interior could use an upgrade of the ambience. During our visit there was also a distinctive foul smell in the air. Apparently a problem with any odor traps. The food that really matters was perfectly fine.

A small Italian restaurant, inconspicuous both outside and inside, away from the city center ... But very warm atmosphere and great Italian food, from pasta to meat to calamari, all at absolutely fair prices. We were there as a group of non-mainzers and everyone loved it.

Here you can enjoy the evening in a cozy atmosphere. The food is extremely delicious and was also served quickly. In some dishes, even a live preparation is presented at the table. The service is very courteous and always to have a conversation. Especially the hospitality left a lasting impression here!

Italian restaurant on the Hartenberg in the immediate vicinity of the SWR. The traditional dishes are good. Everything else like Schnitzel I would recommend here less. The staff is very friendly and tried every wish. The guest room looks a bit old. A terrace is currently not available.

Good pizza!

It was Italian daily atmosphere, it was a delicious simple Italian without a breath. At the social gathering place of neighboring residents, many customers were older people, calmly able to eat with confidence. It was awesome after a long trip. Pasta and bread are good in salt, it was my favorite taste that fits beer.

Excellent food and excellent service! The interior is quite simple. However the quality of food and service are great. During winter they serve pasta stirred in a cheese wheel. Also try the pizza carpaccio. We're loving it!

Very good home cooking, light, good dishes and quality, nice place even if a little dated, average prices, the owner is also a waiter speaks Italian, we happened to happen by chance wanting to go visit the city of mainz, if you go around stop it's worth it.
